PTO MEMBERSHIP FOR 2008-2009

PTO membership forms went home in backpacks two weeks ago, and are also available for download. You do not need to know the name of your child/children's teacher to fill in the form ... we'll add that information for you in the 2008-2009 membership directory. Please be sure to return the forms as soon as possible. They can be mailed to the school office over the summer too.

COLONY ROAD LIVE DISMISSAL SIGN-UP FOR 2008-2009

Sign-up forms to join the Colony Road Live Dismissal system for the 2008-2009 school year went home in backpacks last Friday. They are also available for download. The deadline is August 1st 2008. Please complete the form before the deadline and return with a self-addressed postage paid envelope to the address on the form.

PTO DIRECTORY INFORMATION FOR NON-MEMBERS

If you would like have your name, child/children's name, address and phone/email information listed in the 2008-2009 Fiske PTO Directory, please email the information to Sue Bruce. This will help make the directory as complete as possible and make it easy for people to contact you. To receive a copy of the directory, you must join the PTO.

PTO BOARD MEETING DATES FOR THE 2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR

All meetings take place at 8.00am on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. September 9, October 14, November 18 (the previous Tuesday is a holiday), December 9, June 13, February 10, March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9.

THANK YOU TO DEPARTING PTO BOARD MEMBERS

The 2008-2009 PTO Executive Board would like to recognize departing Executive Board members: Anne Jones (Co-Treasurer), Stacie Simon (Co- Vice President) and Anne Khudari (Secretary) for their contribution to the Fiske PTO. We wish you well and thank you for your tireless hard work and support!

SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL

The Fiske PTO encourages you to let us know about sidewalks and pathways on your route to Fiske that are blocked by foliage or difficult to pass because of another situation. If you have noticed an obstruction or other difficulty while you walk or cycle to school, please let us know by emailing Sue Bruce.

PTO EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENTS

If you have any receipts requiring reimbursement for Fiske PTO activities, please submit them immediately to the Treasurers cubby in the Fiske School Office. Questions should be addressed to Lauren Weiss.

THE LIBRARY THANKS FISKE FAMILIES

A big thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Fiske Book Fair! We sold over $11,000 in merchandise and the library received over $2000 as a result! Thank you to the volunteers who helped make this happen, to many families who donated books to the school, and to everyone who bought books!
